| FCHEC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Corporation formed to foster and promote a greater understanding and public awareness of the health effects of living near and/or having been employed at the former Department of Energy (DOE) uranium processing plant at Fernald, Ohio in Crosby Township, Hamilton County. |
| We believe that improving health education in the community will lead to a better understanding of potential health risks associated with exposures from the site. This better understanding can improve preventative health strategies, target medical screenings and support individual decisions regarding lifestyle and health care. |
